Hello Tim,

I ‘m a really great fan of biathlon and in the past I have seen your name under the first in position tables.
That’s very interesting for me, bacause I’m observing the results of our german biathletes for a long time.
Since I’m living in the north of Germany (on the Baltic sea), far away from all winter competitions, I’m almost watching biathlon on TV.

Now, I wish you all the best in your Olympic competitions. I will keep one’s fingers crossed and hopefully you will become a medallist.

I’m looking forward for the first race tonight.

Have a blast at the olympics and good luck. NY biathletes are rooting for you. I am heading to Old Forge tomorrow for a grandmasters sprint event. I will bring up the rear, but somebody has too. Lead the pack, man, and bring one home for New York! Do you have a twitter account?

Thank you for you candid remarks. As former hopeful (different sport) it is good to know that even the best have off days and talk about weaknesses. Confronting those will make you stronger than denial.
You and the others on the team have had great success and I am sure you will do well. As a German living in the US I am still happy when Germans do well, but it is great to see your success. Looking forward to seeing you on TV.
BTW, when I got to ski in Ruhpolding I didn’t see “complete flats” (the section they call the wall wasn’t accessible, but steep enough sections for my taste…).

Hey Tim, I spend the winters in Thailand and we get Eurosport here. I’ve become a big biathlon fan. I just saw you get second in the mass start. When you cleared in the last shoot I jumped up off the couch like my team won the superbowl.
